We're fighting for time for Marchyk

Mark — a little boy with a big heart and unbreakable spirit, who has been special since birth. He never ran without stopping, never jumped like other children, never dashed around in wild games.

But now I understand the truth… it's not whims or disobedience, but a struggle with pain in a little body where a treacherous monster lives — Duchenne muscular dystrophy. He doesn't rest because he doesn't want to play, but because his body can no longer endure the pain. The scariest thing — he doesn't know it could be different. He thinks everyone is like this. He never says "Mom, it hurts," because he doesn't know that being pain-free is normal. This thought breaks my heart…

Every day he starts with rehabilitation, which has become part of life. It's not sports, but a chance to preserve the muscles that aren't destroyed yet. He endures pain and fatigue for a future without pain. Rehabilitation doesn't cure, but it buys time. Time to receive Elevidys gene therapy, which can stop the disease. Its cost is $2,900,000 (≈122,000,000 UAH). But we need to act fast — the earlier the injection, the better the chance to give him life.
